Ibis Institute

Protocol

Work one target at a time. Use one sheet of letter or A4 paper and a single pen or pencil. Sit somewhere quiet. Write the date and the target coordinate at the top of the page. Let your mind settle. Then let it expand out toward the target. Sketch and note what you perceive. Describe attributes rather than trying to name specific things. You are a conduit for sensory information. Work for 10-20 minutes. Photograph or scan and submit the full page. Do not discuss the target or your prediction with anyone. ALWAYS return the next day to be shown the target you predicted.
